HOUR TWO: The Trump State of the Union speech dominated the hour, with callers and texters with comments on the women in white, Schumer, Pelosi and gallery guests. Also, a discussion of GM layoffs planned and plant closings.

HOUR THREE: Guest Mike McCormick – McCormick Financial Services. Why people should consider a Roth IRA for some of your portfolio. With tax time approaching you should make time to sit down with your CPA or financial advisor to make sure you’re not paying too much.

The game, commercials and the half time show were all lambasted by many viewers. The show didn’t match the hype. A caller talked about a propaganda fund the government set up to favorize the government to national news outlets.  

HOUR TWO: More troops are headed to the southern border, Venezuela has a new president — maybe, housing costs increasing in Bozeman and Montana. Age discrimination court ruling a concern to aging workers.

HOUR THREE: Guest Steve White, BadBills.Com — Discussion of the many bills up before the legislature including, recreational marijuana, taxing churches, getting rid of Lt. Governor’s office, climate change, daylight savings time, sanctuary cities in Montana, sales tax and more.

HOUR TWO: The New York Abortion Law would allow abortions up to the moment of birth dominated the hour. Virginia, Rhode Island, Oregon are considering similar laws.

HOUR THREE: The Polar Vortex is reaking havoc on the central states with record cold temperatures. Is global warming over? Tom, Shane and callers discuss. A caller was interested in a new name in the race for president — Marianne Williams. The stock market got some new life with positive news from corporate reports. And more on the abortion issue.

HOUR ONE: Our poll question of the day, “Will There Be A Government Shutdown On Feb. 15^th?” City to annex 160 acres near the new high school for development of business and housing. Gallatin County Commissioners settles lawsuit over Powder Light subdivision on Hwy 74. Governor’s infrastructure plans might be uphill battle with legislature, MSU raises $413 million over eight years. The Stone arrest, Texas voter rolls under attack.

HOUR TWO: Montana Senator Jon Tester to head up a committee to find solutions for the border wall issue with President Trump. Inflation and the cost of trucks were a hot topic in the second part of this hour.

HOUR THREE: Guest Financial Guru Mike McCormick. A caller asked Mike about the Fiduciary responsibility of financial advisers. Mike explained. The Go Fund Me site to build a border wall missed their one-billion-dollar goal but did raise $20 million. They are using that money to contact southern border land owners to build the wall on those lands where land owners are willing to sell.
