Every city, state, federal government, and almost every civilized country in the world says I must, — MUST wear a seat belt when operating my motor vehicle. Seat belts are fine for roller coasters, airplanes, and rocket flights to outer space but are seat belts really a must since most of us are safe drivers? At best shouldn’t seat belts and airbags be an option I can use to lower the cost of my vehicle? Do those wimpy electric cars need seat belts? Even baby strollers and shopping carts have them. I should be able to make my own decisions regarding my safety. Why are there no seat belts on motorcycles? None on bicycles? How safe are they?
