The Midterm Election is approaching quickly. The House and Senate are both up for grabs. The Democrat Party has a narrow majority in House and 50-50 in the Senate. Fourteen Democrat Senate seats will be contested, while 21 Republican senators are on the block. All House seats are elected every two years. Currently, Democrats hold the House with a 220 – 212 majority. It takes 218 house votes to pass a bill. On November 8^th, voters will make their choices.
